Who: Applied Art and Design, a professional production company from
Des Moines, with an executive director from Los Angeles
What: Need 60 Iowa State student extras of various ethnicities,
between the ages of 18 and 26, to be non-speaking background extras for two
Iowa State student recruitment TV spots to be videotaped on campus September
24, 25 and 26 during the day and early evening. This is a non-union, 2-year
buyout for all TV and web rights for a national 30-second commercial.
Each extra chosen will be paid $20 for his/her time. ( Sorry,
current Cyclone student athletes are not eligible to participate.)
When: Auditions will be held Tuesday, September 17, at 5 p.m.
Where: Room 2140 Pearson Hall.
How: At the audition, each person will be interviewed briefly,
picture taken, contact information collected, and availability determined for
which days and which segments of the day. Each person selected will only be
needed for 2-3 hours on one of the three days, September 24, 25 or 26.
